Curated Connections
Retailers
When retailers and local makers connect with intention, something special happens: your shelves tell a richer story, your customers feel the difference, and your shop becomes part of a thriving creative community.
I help you discover local goods that feel at home in your space and build partnerships that uplift everyone involved.
Pop‑Up Markets
What a Pop‑Up Market Is
Pop‑Up Markets are a collaborative partnership between you, the maker, and our team. You provide the space; inside your shop, outside your storefront, or in a studio or backroom area, and we handle the rest.
Curating the Right Makers for Your Space
We work closely with you to curate beautiful, aligned vendor categories that complement your shop's atmosphere and customer base. For example, if we were curating a market for a yoga studio, we might explore makers in Aromatherapy & Essential Oils, Hand‑Poured Soy Candles, Natural Skincare, Herbal Teas, Ceramics, Mindfulness Journals, Minimalist Jewelry, Handmade Textiles, Art Prints, Wellness Snacks, or Eco‑Friendly Goods. We look for makers whose products naturally cross‑market with your space, creating harmony with your existing offerings.
Supporting Makers and
Strengthening Community
Pop‑Up Markets also give makers a meaningful place to share their work. It's a chance for them to connect with customers, gather real feedback, and grow their presence in a supportive, community‑minded environment. Your shop becomes part of that story, a place where creativity and local connection naturally meet.
What We Handle for You
Makers pay The Curated Collective a market fee, which covers coordination, communication, event promotion, insurance, and day‑of support. Makers provide their own table, setup, and tear‑down. We ask that table covers be long enough to hide any storage under the table. A member of The Curated Collective will be on‑site for the entire pop‑up to support the maker and ensure a smooth, successful day.
How We Promote the Event
Leading up to the event, both The Curated Collective and the makers promote the pop‑up market. We use a mix of events, posts, maker engagement, social media, ads, neighbourhood postings, and "I'm a Vendor" shares. We also encourage makers to offer local pickup at the pop‑up to increase traffic. You're welcome to plan special complimentary experiences for your customers on the same day.
Explore Whether This Is a Fit
If you'd like to explore whether this is a good fit for your shop, you're welcome to book an Alignment Session with me. I'm genuinely interested in helping communities come together and create local experiences that feel good for everyone involved.
This model keeps things easy for you while bringing fresh energy, new customers, and a sense of community into your shop.
Thoughtful pairings that elevate your space and strengthen your community.
A denim shop paired with a local fragrance maker whose scents deepen the mood of the space. A furniture store showcasing handmade pottery that completes a room. A boutique adding one‑of‑a‑kind jewelry or candles that feel made for their customers.
These pairings aren't random; they're intentional, thoughtful, and rooted in the belief that small businesses can elevate one another. When you bring in local, handmade, and one‑of‑a‑kind goods, you strengthen your shop's story, deepen your connection with the community, and gain visibility through the maker's existing customers. It's a simple, meaningful way to stand out while supporting the creative ecosystem around you.
Imagine the Possibilities
Maker Products on Your Shelves
Bringing Local Goods Into Your Shop
We invite you to welcome local makers, creatives, and artists into your shop with ease. This service helps you ease into the relationship, find a natural groove with a maker, and build something meaningful together. We act as the bridge between you and the maker, a simple, supportive way to bring locally made goods onto your shelves.
Connecting Shops With Local Makers
Just like our pop‑up markets, The Curated Collective is here to help shopkeepers and store managers discover one‑of‑a‑kind, locally made products from artisans and small businesses. We take the time to understand what you're looking for: the mood, the style, the price point, and the feeling you want your customers to experience.
Why This Matters
Bringing in local goods strengthens your shop's story, deepens your connection with the community, and increases your visibility through the maker's existing customers, many of whom will happily visit your space to see their favourite maker's work in person.
Curating a Thoughtful Match
Once we understand your needs, we look through our community of makers and identify products that cross‑market beautifully with your space. We'll send you a small curated sample of product photos so you can get a sense of what might fit your shelves.
If you're drawn to a particular maker or product, we'll handle the introduction. Before reaching out, we'll discuss how you'd like that introduction to happen: email, group video chat, or a warm in person handoff.
Supporting Both Sides of the Collaboration
If you have specific requirements for the maker regarding packaging, pricing, quantities, or timelines, we can clearly pass them along. And if the maker needs support preparing for wholesale or consignment, we're here to coach them through the process. That might include helping them create a simple product sheet, refine their wholesale pricing, prepare shelf‑ready packaging, or understand the basics of contracts and expectations. Our goal is to make the connection easy and supportive on both sides, so collaborations feel smooth, aligned, and set up for success.
Included for Pathways Members
This service is included for makers inside the Pathways Membership, giving them access to an additional sales channel and warm introductions to local shops. As part of their membership, makers receive support preparing for wholesale or consignment, from creating simple product sheets to refining pricing, packaging, and expectations. It's a gentle, low‑barrier way for makers to grow and a simple, supportive way for shops to bring locally made goods onto their shelves.
Building Local Partnerships That Feel Good
We're here to help you bring in products that feel aligned with your shop and meaningful to your customers. Every introduction is intentional, relationship‑based, and rooted in the belief that local collaborations strengthen communities.
